Just before his 81st birthday Amitabh Bachchan Bachchanalia Memorabilia Auction Smashes World Records, a number of cherished mementos connected to the illustrious Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan are being auctioned off. Some of Big B’s belongings were auctioned by online auction house deRivaz & Ives between October 5-7, which included election publicity cards to film posters. Many things of Amitabh were sold, but people were most interested in buying his publicity card, which he had signed in Hindi.

The auction was held with the title ‘Bacchanalia’. Amitabh Bachchan had contested the Lok Sabha elections in 1984. He contested the elections on Congress ticket and defeated Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna by a huge margin. His election publicity card has been sold for approximately Rs 67,200.
